ANDERSON 64188Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London
This lot had several graves with old burials that had never been marked with a monument. The stone was erected in 2013 by a descendant and commemorates his parents and identifies the other family members buried in these old graves. Room was left to add actual dates if this information ever becomes available. The names were very carefully arranged so that geneologists can clearly understand the connections between the various people on the stone. -
HUNSBERGER 48808St Jacobs Mennonite, St Jacobs
David Hunsberger was a well known photographer who specialized in working with the Mennonites in this area. One of his favourite photographs was used for the laser etched image on this stone. There are two good articles about his work at http://www.yourlocalheritage.ca/Report.php?ListType=Documents&ID=1764 and at http://observerxtra.com/mennonites-through-the-cameras-lens/#observerxtra=199:4:W3F,199:64:vy2;198:19:GKy,198:44:3LO .
